Inland Empire 2020

2020 has arrived and the IE Chapter of CMIA would like to announce the tentative plan for the year.  The IE Chapter has had proven success in the past and this year’s plan is to build on that foundation.  Our focus will be on technology innovation, regulatory trends, community awareness, industry expansion and education.  The IE Executive Board is requesting your input to help facilitate the focal points for 2020 and your assistance is appreciated.

IE Chapter would like to establish a Regulatory Tracker that identifies any regulatory inspections in our demographics.  If you are expecting a TJC or DNV Inspection this year, please respond to this email.  Our goal is to monitor their locations and be a resource if needed.  If you complete an inspection in 2020, we would like to obtain a summary of their focal points and we will allow you to present on the outcomes of your inspection during one of our Chapter meetings this year.  All participants will receive a prize.

IE Chapter will also like to identify any job openings in Southern California that relates to the HTM Community.  We will be establishing a Job Posting Tracker and will be announcing the opportunities during our Chapter Meetings.  On our 2020 Plan Schedule below, we will be holding a Vendor/Job Fair in May and our focus is to expand our industry with CMIA members.  At that time, we will be contacting local educational institutions and providing community awareness to high schools in the IE Area.

Below is the tentative plan for 2020 and is a broad overview.  Our other focus is education and the promotion of knowledge on new technology/innovation as indicated in our plan below.   We will be adding specifics as the year progresses and plan changes if the industry dictates it.  Our goal is increase member engagement and have an enjoyable experience at the same time.  The IE Executive Board looks forward to seeing our chapter members this year.  Happy New Year and see everyone in San Diego for the CMIA Connect on January 24^th through the 25^th.
